Speckled Wood has not been saved as you are being told .

The Inspector has only announced Preliminary findings which do not protect the entire Woodland. One example of this is the For Sale sign now on the Clifton Road Village Green. The Consolation we are currently running is one of the most important to date. For the complete protection of Speckled Wood / Upper Ore Valley the Public Examination Inspector has to make comment on the entire estate in line with the Cabinet decision. It is nearly too late there is only fifteen days are left to give your response.

The Trust has a table in the Priory Meadow this Saturday all day to collect Reponses. The current Response numbers have been low only 168 Reponses received to date. The Hastings Observer was asked to run a story but they have not managed to print this week due they say to time constraints. We hope to see you at the Priory Meadow Centre on Saturday 9:00 till 5:00pm
